Top Tips for Skincare

MY Top Tips for Skincare

Make sure your skincare contains natural active ingredients that contain plenty of antioxidants to fight free radicals.  Free radicals break down collagen fibres in the skin causing aged and tired looking skin.

Use a sunscreen all year round, ideally a moisturiser with a SPF of 15.  This will protect the skin from ageing and prevent pigmentation and brown spots.

Exfoliate the skin regularly with a gentle non abrasive product.  This will encourage cellular renewal and enable your skincare products to penetrate more deeply into the skin.

When moisturizing ensure you also massage the cream into the neck as over time this area can become visibly aged

Try and use a specialized night cream for your skin.  Most night creams are designed to feed and restore the skin while you sleep.

Use a good quality masque 1-2 times a week this will feed, nourish and replenish the skin.Have a professional facial at least once every 8 weeks, this will help to plump up the skin and supply fresh blood and oxygen to the skin cells.

For people suffering with rosacia we recommend that you use olive oil to cleanse the skin,  then rinse with warm water and apply an unscented natural moisturiser.

Drink plenty of water to hydrate the skin, get plenty of sleep and limit your alcohol intake.
